The shop you never knew you needed. There isn't anything I don't think they don't sell from pies to grommets, sodas to washers. Denise was especially helpful, make sure you have time to browse because once you enter it's an Aladdin's cave of goods.

This hardware store has way more than hardware. It is full of friendly staff like Denise and Connor. Both of them went above and beyond typical customer service. If you are close to Cole's Hardware, stop by and take a look inside. You will find something that you need.

The staff here are awesome and give me whatever level of help I need. The location is great, too, I love being able to do my home renovation errands on my lunch break rather than having to do them over the weekend.

Came to San Fran for the Super Bowl… bought so much crap that I needed another suitcase to get it all home. Cole Hardware had two options! Sold. The variety in such a small space was amazing.

Cole Hardware always has exactly what I need, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Today, Denise helped me with knife sharpening, and she was amazing. She was so kind, and answered all of my questions. Thank you, Denise!

The store is organized, clean and easy to navigate. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and personable. This is one of the few stores I actually don’t mind going in to buy vs ordering online (even if it’s “cheaper” on prime). Having the staff there to help saves me time and for me that’s more valuable.

The lady on the phone was very helpful and patient. Once I got there, the young man was also extremely helpful. They both understood what I needed after my convoluted explanation. I will return as they were not condescending to me - as has happened in other hardware stores.

It's not often a hardware store has a real vibe, but Cole does. They have an amazing amount of stock stuffed into all their nooks and crannies, plus a helpful staff with real personality. Also, whoever did their fantastic Super Bowl window display should get an immediate raise.

If you’re looking for a hardware store in the city, you’ve come to the right place. Their products can be useful at times, specially when your apartment’s maintenance team falls behind. Bought my first hammer at this location. Staff are friendly and helpful.
